Fair Game: Fair Game, cartea 1
Autor Darlene O. Hightoweren Limba Engleză Paperback – 17 oct 2026
Washington, D.C., 1992.
Brian Wallace came to Collier College with one goal: earn the starting running back position and prove he'll never be second best again. Katherine Dubois arrived with a different burden-the weight of a famous family, impossible expectations, and a future that has already been planned for her.
They aren't supposed to fit.
He's a scholarship athlete from rural Georgia. She's Black royalty, raised in a world where pedigree matters as much as love. But as friendship turns into something neither of them expected, Brian and Katherine discover that the hardest person to become isn't someone's partner-it's yourself.
Over four unforgettable years of football games, Greek life, late-night study sessions, and the soundtrack of the 1990s, they'll face rivalry, family secrets, colorism, class, and the question every first love must answer: Can the person you fall in love with survive the person you're still becoming?
Perfect for readers who love Black college romance, coming-of-age love stories, slow-burn chemistry, found family, and rich 1990s nostalgia, Fair Game is a heartfelt celebration of first love, Black joy, friendship, and discovering that sometimes finding your forever begins with finding yourself.
