Award-winning poet Holly Harwood wrote eighty poems for her first book. Her themes include love, nature, faery, and life. She writes poetry in many forms, including gogyoshi, cinquain, haiku, iambic dimeter, blank verse, alexandrines, triolet, sonnet and prose poem. Gogyoshi is a Japanese form of free verse comprising five lines. The poem "Esta Noche" was written in Spanish, then translated into English.
