Many spiritual concepts link to one single concept of expanding love. Love has so many applications to several aspects of life. Expanding love in the context of friends, family and relations is about giving of yourself and your time and not being unduly harsh on others. It's also important to expand love to yourself and make sure your needs are being met. In the context of work, you may expand love through acquiring skills for yourself, making a contribution to the world and providing a service for others. Expanding love seems to be a simple concept, but what's less easy is the practice of it.
