The first story of the 'Age of the Deathless' trilogy, following the events in the small South Wales town of Oldport during the early stages of a zombie apocalypse. Society falls apart at a frightening rate as the recently deceased return as mindless hungry cannibals, whose victims quickly join the fast multiplying army of undead assailants, but not all of the resurrected dead are such simple, one-track automatons.
