Recenzii
"Everyday Ecotherapy is a wonderful book which offers wise guidance for everyone eager to experience the benefits of including more nature-connection practices in our lives and communities. We know how important this ecotherapy benefit is to our mental and physical health, but often get stuck on questions like, “yes, but exactly how do I do it?" or "how can I fit this into my already-overstressed life?" Full of inspirational ideas and detailed guidance, it belongs on the shelf of not only psychotherapists, ecotherapists and general health practitioners but everyone who wants to include nature-connection healing practices in their life."
Linda Buzzell, MA, LMFT, ecotherapist and co-editor Ecotherapy: Healing with Nature in Mind.
"I highly recommend this wonderful book! Grounded in direct experience and supported by research, Everyday Ecotherapy is an inspiring guide to the many benefits for people and the planet from connecting with nature. From “why” to “how,” this book is a treasure."
Cheryl Charles, PhD, co-founder, Children and Nature Network, International co-chair, IUCN’s #NatureForAll
"By now, it is well known that nature offers powerful medicine for our minds, hearts, and souls. However, Everyday Ecotherapy offers an invitation into a deep, enriching journey through ecotherapy and its inner worlds. The book not only provides structure and background for the practitioner or teacher but also shares many stories that families can relate to and understand how to truly make these practices part of their everyday lives. As an herbalist with over forty years of teaching experience, I was amazed by the perspective this book offers on how to truly engage with life—real life!"
Kat Maier, RH (AHG), founder and director of Sacred Plant Traditions and Winner of the Gold Medal Nautilus Book Award
