How are we being formed into the image of Christ? In Every Perfect Gift: Classical Virtues for Christian Formation, authors Joseph Lanier and Travis James Montgomery demonstrate how the seven classic Christian virtues (faith, hope, love, justice, prudence, temperance, and fortitude) are important to our spiritual formation. Balancing depth and breadth, this book will provide a robust biblical, theological, and historical discussion on the role of the seven virtues in Christian formation from a uniquely evangelical perspective. Lanier and Montgomery are able guides for their readers who seek to be formed by "every good and perfect gift" from God the Father above (James 1:17).
