Living the daily routine became boring to Jengo Wood, a custodian at the Brooklyn Museum. Jengo, a native of Carmel, Indiana, began to realize life in New York wasn't as fascinating as he originally believed. As life becomes increasingly meaningless for Jengo, he discovers a new obsession: dreams. After meeting a mysterious man, he begins to embark on a journey he was not quite ready for.
