In this latest novel, "Evening Tales & Tear Drops" the friendship between a southern black woman and a northern white professor is explored. The setting for the story is Charleston, South Carolina during the early part of the 1920's. When these two individual paths cross they meet each other with hate and dislike, but through shared paths and a deep religion a remarkable friendship will be formed.
