Even in Exile
Autor Rev. Susan Eatonen Limba Engleză Paperback – 18 aug 2026
The diagnosis came. The relationship fractured. The dream died. The future you imagined disappeared. Suddenly, you're living in unfamiliar territory-an exile of the soul.
Rev. Susan Eaton knows what it means to walk through seasons of uncertainty, grief, and shattered expectations. With the heart of a pastor and the compassion of someone who has traveled this road herself, she invites readers to discover a surprising truth: exile is not evidence of God's absence. Often, it is where God does some of His deepest work.
Drawing on Scripture, personal story, and decades of active ministry, Even in Exile offers hope for anyone navigating disappointment, anxiety, relational brokenness, loss, or unanswered prayers. Through spiritual formation practices-including breath prayers, reflection exercises, and journaling prompts-Susan helps readers recognize God's presence, cultivate resilience, and grow deeper roots of faith, even when facing their most difficult season.
You may not have chosen this wilderness. But you do not have to walk through it alone. God is here. Hope is possible. And even in exile, joy can be found.
