Essays on Literature illustrate the way works of fiction have given me a sense of personal recognition, how I discovered myself in the novels and stories I've read. The ten essays were written over the course of six years, with the first in 2009 and and the latest in 2015. I present them in the hope they will lead other readers to find their own sense of recognition in the experience of reading literature.
