Harvey W. Blanch is Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, where he taught for over 38 years. He has authored more than 400 scientific publications and is a Member of the US National Academy of Engineering. He received the B.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) degree (1968) from the University of Sydney and the PhD degree (1971) from the University of New South Wales.
Douglas S. Clark is Chancellor's Professor and Dean Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, where he has taught for 40 years. He has authored more than 310 scientific publications and is a Member of the US National Academy of Engineering. He received the B.S. (Chemistry) degree (1979) from the University of Vermont and the PhD (Chemical Engineering) degree (1983) from the California Institute of Technology.
