This timely title is a reflection of the Pontifical Council "Justice and Peace" on how energy is linked to justice and peace. The latter can, in fact, be threatened for all unresolved energy issues, while a healthy energy management can and should contribute to an integral, real, sustainable development. Energy, Justice, and Peace is the theme of the Message for the 49th World Day of Peace, January 1, 2016, the third of the papacy of Pope Francis.
