en Limba Engleză Hardback – 6 iun 2024
Fans of Lane Smith and David Ezra Stein will delight in this story about stories and making sure they end in the best possible way.  Sometimes, when a story is reaching what should be the absolute best part, the whole thing just falls apart. The ending can be too complicated, too sad, or too catastrophic. That’s why our narrator has a plan to change the way things end. And make sure they finish at just the right time, in just the right way. But even the best plans can go awry.

Notă biografică

Noemi Vola is an Italian author and illustrator. She has received a number of awards, including the CICLA Award for Best International Illustrated Book at the Shangai International Children’s Book Fair (2021), the national award “Nati per leggere” (2019), and the Serpa International Award for picture books curated by Planeta Tangerina (2018). Her illustrations have also been selected at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in 2019 and 2022. Rosa Churcher Clarke is from Manchester (UK) and has been living and working in Lisbon for the last 10 years. Before moving to Portugal, she received an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Oxford. She has continued her studies in Lisbon and elsewhere with a Masters in 'Crossways in Cultural Narratives' and, more recently, with a PhD in Comparative Studies. Her translation work has been broad and varied and reflects her wish to see more quality literature and arts exported from Portugal and the wider Portuguese-speaking world and made available to a global audience.
