Leaving behind her busy life back in the city of Lexington, Kentucky, Amy decides to stay in a small village in Romania to find peace and quiet. She discovers not peace and quiet...but a handsome stranger by the name of Abel Vlescue. Abel had ruled over several areas of land in Romania for the last five hundred years, making sure that the peasants did as he instructed. On a rainy day, he finds Amy at his door in hopes for shelter. His desire for her burned greatly, and made him want to her share his bed of Crimson and Lace.
