Batterer intervention treatment is often the first counseling experience for many of our participants. Before attending your first group, you may experience a variety of emotions. Some people discuss feeling nervous or anxious, others express anger or resentment, and still others express interest and curiosity. The guide cannot climb the mountain for you, all of the hard work will be done by each individual climber.
