Katrina Tangen vive en el sur de California, entre Disneylandia y la playa. Estudió folklore y mitología, historia de la ciencia, psicología y religión en Harvard, así que sabe un poco de muchas cosas. Katrina tiene una discapacidad causada por encefalomielitis miálgica (EM/SFC), por lo que usa una silla de ruedas. Escribe ficción y no ficción para niños de todas las edades.
Katrina Tangen lives in Southern California between Disneyland and the beach. At Harvard, she studied folklore & mythology, history of science, psychology, and religion, so she knows a little bit about a lot of things. Katrina is disabled by ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis) and is a wheelchair user. She writes fiction and nonfiction for kids of all ages.
Wendy Wen se graduó de Nottingham Trent University con una maestría en ilustración. Nacida con una rara enfermedad congénita que le provoca una deficiencia de calcio en los huesos que requiere el uso de una silla de ruedas eléctrica, Wendy siempre lucha por sus sueños de crear arte. Ha recibido numerosos premios de ilustración, entre ellos, una mención de honor del Macmillan Prize y una posición de finalista del Premio Mundial de Ilustración. Born with a rare congenital disease that leads to a calcium deficiency in her bones requiring the use of an electric wheelchair, Wendy never gives up on pursuing her dreams of creating art. Her artwork has been recognized by many illustration awards, including being highly commended for the Macmillan Prize, longlisted for the World Illustration Award, and more.
