Edith Dekyndt: Tell Us Something That Nobody Knows / Erzähl uns etwas, das niemand weiß
Editat de Christina Végh, Henrike Mund Contribuţii de Rodney LaTourelleen Limba Engleză Paperback – 5 aug 2026
The Belgian artist Edith Dekyndt trains her attention on the forces quietly at work in our rapidly changing world. Working across video, sculpture, and installation, she adopts objects, images, and sounds from everyday life or nature and performs interventions that set transformations in motion. Physical and chemical processes result in painterly and sculptural qualities and, eventually, in a kind of beauty that rests on fragility as much as brutality, allure as much as destruction. The works are complemented by dedicated performances in which the archaic and the contemporary communicate.
Released on the occasion of Dekyndt’s first comprehensive institutional solo exhibition in Germany, Tell Us Something That Nobody Knows presents an in-depth survey of her oeuvre. The catalog features over sixty works, with an introduction by Christina Végh and an essay by Rodney LaTourelle.
