Notă biografică
Dr. Wang received his BSc and PhD degrees in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 1989 and 2008, respectively, and his MSc degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 2001. Since 2012, he has been an Associate Professor at the School of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research focuses on nonlinear stochastic ocean waves and marine hydrodynamics. He is a member of ASCE and ASME and serves as the Associate Editor of Ship Production and Design (SNAME). In 2018, he was the recipient of a First-class Science and Technology Advancement Award bestowed by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China in 2018, the Science and Technology Award presented by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society in 2018, and also the prestigious Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
