After the final battle in the Roman crisis, Roman commander Georgios of Cappadocia is given a legion to secure the Province of Africa for Emperor Diocletian. Upon arriving in Africa he falls in love with the Princess Sabra and must dethrone her mad father who issues a lottery of virgins to appease a diabolical beast. Little does he know of a sinister force that has the ear of the king.
