Fourteen year old Leon Mendoza starts the eighth grade with three strikes against him: an upcoming court date, a Pops in jail, and a Moms in deep depression. Even his homies start to change how they deal with him. Can a pro-active P.O., a beautiful girl, and a stranger who trusts him get Leon back on track?
