Caliban Leandros is half human-Rom and half Auphe, or as he's derisively labelled himself: half-human, half-monster, all attitude. He is a mass of dark sarcasm and angst and would shoot a monster in the back without a second thought. He loves his guns and he loves his brother Niko, so when Niko's shady father is in town and needs a big favour, Cal is on the lookout for danger. Even worse is the reunion being held by the devious Puck race, including Cal's friend Robin, with a lottery that no puck wants to win. As Cal tries to keep them safe, a reminder from his past arrives.
