Donkey Business

Autor Peter J. Briscoe
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 6 sep 2018
What is the real purpose of a business - and how can commerce become part of a Christian's calling? Many believers experience faith and business as two separate worlds: Christianity belongs to Sunday, while commercial life follows a different set of priorities during the rest of the week. In Donkey Business, Peter J. Briscoe challenges Christian entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders to reconsider that division. Using the donkey as a metaphor for an enterprise, Briscoe presents business as a practical instrument that can serve God's purposes and bear fruit in the marketplace. He encourages readers to connect their Christian walk with the daily realities of commerce and to consider how faith should influence the purpose behind their work. Donkey Business invites Christians to look beyond profit as the only measure of success and examine the spiritual significance of their decisions, relationships and responsibilities. It is a thought-provoking exploration of business ethics, biblical stewardship, marketplace ministry and the opportunity to honour God through everyday commercial life. Written for Christians involved in business and professional leadership, this book offers a biblical perspective on doing business with integrity, purpose and faith.
