The Attorney General directed the Task Force to examine all of the Department of Justice's intellectual property enforcement efforts and to explore ways for the Department of Justice to increase its protection of valuable intellectual property resources. The Attorney General formed a team of legal experts with a diverse range of experience and expertise to examine this important area of the law. The Task Force analysed existing resources and proposed significant improvements in the following areas: criminal enforcement; international co-operation; civil enforcement; antitrust enforcement; legislation; and prevention. This book explores the topic of intellectual property theft and its rising threat against our nation's economic security.
