Devil's Apprentice: Saga of the Golden Chain

JB Palmer was raised a Midwest agnostic with a tincture of Protestantism in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When JBS Palmer was born in early 1941, Edith Stein's and Maximillian Kolbe's ashes had not yet circulated in the streams of the sky to Michigan. Vaguely aware of the existence of saints and the Catholic Church, Palmer pursued a love of biological science, with a Bachelors from Oberlin College and a Doctorate from the University of Oregon. The Saga of the Golden Chain reflects his life-long fascination with the existence of invisible life forms, in his youth in the context of Taoism, and later in the equally ancient and more profound context of Catholicism in which he now finds himself. The Saga of the Golden Chain synthesizes biology into theology in one vast thought experiment of entertaining prose.
