Tiffany and her older sister Taneesha live in the Chauncey Drive housing projects in the Hill District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Due to their mothers' heroin addiction and abstentee father, life for them is rough. When their mother dies they are forced to live with their crackhead aunt and abusive boyfriends. The only other people they can depend on are their friends the twins, and Meeka. That's until Taneesha meets Governor, a big time drug dealer. Soon after tragedy strikes.
