Through an act of alchemy by a madman, Dracula is able to leave the pages of his novel and pursue his villainy in the real world. His first act as a true flesh and blood vampire is massacring the Domino family. However, in this vampire moment he spares the young Dante Domino and sentences him to confinement. When Dante awakens, he finds that the real world has been pitted against the world of the fictitious. Dracula has brought about literature's worst villains to do his dirty work. With some help from his new found friends, Dante will have to take back the world for the non-fiction.
