Notă biografică
Ron Levy is a Professor at the Australian National University's College of Law, Governance, and Policy. His research draws on the political theory of deliberative democracy to examine how deeply contentious political and constitutional problems can be more effectively managed. He is the author and editor of several books, including Deliberative Peace Referendums (Oxford University Press, 2021), co-authored with Ian O'Flynn and Hoi L. Kong, and The Cambridge Handbook of Deliberative Constitutionalism, co-edited with Hoi L. Kong, Graeme Orr, and Jeff King (Cambridge University Press, 2018).Allison McCulloch is a Professor at Brandon University (Canada). Her research considers the politics of ethnically divided societies, peace processes, and democratization in post-conflict states. She is interested in how power-sharing governments handle political crises, the incentive structures for ethnopolitical moderation and extremism that power-sharing offers, and how power-sharing arrangements can be made more inclusive of identities beyond the ethnonational divide.Ian O'Flynn is a Professor of Political Theory at Newcastle University (UK). His main research interest is in the theory of deliberative democracy. Much of his work has sought to apply this theory to the reform of power-sharing institutions in deeply divided societies. He is the author of Deliberative Democracy (Polity, 2021) and is currently working on a project funded by the European Commission Horizon scheme on deliberative democracy and sustainable climate transitions.
