In her life, Keysha has experienced highs and lows, but blessed to enjoy her family and community. She endured a number of traumatic seasons. Her relationship with God has been tested throughout her life as He allowed her to endure molestation, assault, and addiction. Despite the suffering, Keysha had caring parents who provided a way for her to be educated and encouraged her musical gifts and talents. She was able to have a meaningful relationship, get married and have three beautiful children while making her home in another country and serving in full time ministry. As time went on, Keysha carried the weight of her past, walked in her struggle of addiction and shame, believing that if she ignored the infection of trauma and abuse in her soul, it would somehow disappear. That belief was shattered after she lost her mother to cancer. Through the word of God in Scriptures, prayer, worship and meditation, she received healing for her soul, belief in herself and rediscovered her purpose. Writing this book and accompanying music has deepened her healing. It is written to show God's love and to encourage those who suffer in life to believe He is present and real. Author's Note: This book is accompanied by an EP album entitled "Deep- Songs From Within". Please visit iTunes or CDBaby (at the link below) for download.

She went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Music, Piano Performance at the University of Miami, Florida in 1993. Throughout the Bahamas and some areas in Florida, Keysha accompanied her mother who was an accomplished singer. She also excelled in dance and participated in folklore shows, plays and vocal recitals that her mother directed and produced. Soon after graduating, Keysha married Charles Taylor from Macon, Georgia. She excelled in service as church pianist in their denomination which is Grace Communion International. The congregation is Journey Church - Miramar, Florida. She has served as the Music Director for the past 20 years. With the help of her husband and church workers, she has produced two Praise & Worship Workshops, written an Easter narrative play, and outreach concerts during Christmas and Easter seasons. Her service extends as worship leader at a number of church conferences. As a songwriter, Keysha incorporates her original songs into every worship session she leads. In 2002, Keysha arranged and produced the music for a CD album entitled "Father's Heart". As a woman of many talents including dance, sewing, and art, Keysha also teaches piano privately from within her home. At the end of each school year, her students enjoy performing for their parents in an intimate piano setting. She loves working with children as she has three of her own, Chakeyra, Kiana and Caleb. The focus of this multi-talented woman of Faith is now on composing and recording songs that express her heart from her life experiences. These songs accompany her life story book entitled Deep Book - My Journey to True Inner Peace.
