A hopeful invitation for environmental change
As the Earth undergoes profound environmental changes and the powers-that-be ignore them, many of us feel disempowered and at a loss for how to process and move forward. The conversation around environmentalism has become inaccessible to many and has ignored the essential role that cultural, racial, and social equity play in our planet's survival. Isaias Hernandez, an environmental educator, storyteller, and founder of Queer Brown Vegan, makes environmental literacy accessible to everyone, especially those curious to unpack their understanding of the climate crisis.
Dear Environmentalist serves as both a primer and a call to action, empowering readers with the information they need to advocate for a flourishing world. Filled with hope, Hernandez centers the essential role of community in the quest for repair and progress, showing that passion and knowledge can create true, lasting change.
