Deadly Mountains: Project Forge

Brandon Burley is a prior-service infantry Marine, retired Tennessee detective, criminal justice educator, investigative journalist, author, and award-winning host of The Redemption Project podcast. His work centers on criminal justice, evidence, public systems, and the human consequences that can be lost when institutions reduce people to categories or case numbers. Drawing on years in law enforcement and criminal justice education, Burley writes both nonfiction and fiction that emphasize investigative discipline, accountability, and the difference between what is suspected and what can actually be proved. He is the founder of The Redemption Project and the author of works on criminal justice, recidivism, ethics, public safety, and fiction.
