Daylight, Nightlight

Gigi Le Flufy is a British Canadian author and educator living and working on the unceded, traditional territories of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓-speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people, also called Vancouver. She studied video and film at the University of West London in England and illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver. Gigi shares her love of storytelling with children in her role as a senior early childhood educator at UBC Child Care Services.

Miki Sato is a Japanese Canadian illustrator who uses a variety of different papers and fabrics to create layered, three-dimensional-looking illustrations. She enjoys experimenting and finding new textures to incorporate into her work, and spends her days cutting and gluing together tiny pieces of her illustrations. Born and raised in Ottawa, she currently resides in Toronto.
