This book presents the facts as presented unbiased in the Bible that a chosen one of God has committed abominable sins such adultery, conspiracy that resulted in unwanted pregnancy in Bathsheba, Amnon raping Tamar, Absalom chasing his own father David for life and several other problems; yet God in His mercy has forgiven David and established His Throne forever and ever through David's son Solomon.
