Notă biografică
John A. Hayman is an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Pathology of The University of Melbourne. He is a medical graduate and specialist pathologist with over 60 years' experience in the field. His appointments include rural teaching hospitals and in international and developing countries, pathologist for the Australian army reserves, and advisor to the World Health Organization (WHO). His academic research, including his PhD thesis, has focused on Charles Darwin's illness since 2009. Adam S. Wilkins is a Guest Scientist at the Institute of Biology of Humboldt Universität, Berlin. He has worked as a PhD-level researcher, an author, and an editor, including over 20 years as Staff Editor and Editor of BioEssays. Wilkins was subsequently Editor of the commentaries column "Perspectives" for Genetics for 12 years. Writing since 1980, he has published four advanced biology texts and over 150 journal articles.
