Kyle Jackson is trying to recover after losing his wife in an auto accident. One day he receives a mysterious call from a total stranger, who claims that his wife's death was no accident. After meeting with this man, he hires a private detective, Shelly Blake, who, at first seems like a person who is not able to help him, but things change, and there is one surprise after the other that keeps Kyle from giving up on his search.
