Dark Hollow I is the story of an Irish family and their relocation to America in the early 1900's. The Wainright family comes to live and work on an estate, Dark Hollow, owned and managed by a wealthy English family. Their lives become intertwined with this family and the other workers on Dark Hollow. Mystery surrounds Ann, the oldest child. Who is she really? Why have they come to America? What are they trying to escape?
