Daniel, the horse, is a winner : but winning all the time is making Daniel a loser with his peers, so Daniel decides to lose races to gain his peers' approval. Daniel, the fastest horse, learns to be a winner even when he tries to lose. Daniel learns that trying can make a winner out of him, even if he loses.
