An extremely well-preserved example of an Iron Age hillfort, Danebury is typical of many in Wessex, but made exceptional by being the most thoroughly excavated and explored hillfort in the whole of Europe. This book gives us insight into the historical monument, the surrounding landscape and farms, and the lives of Danebury's Iron Age inhabitants.
