Linda Masteller shares with us her fifty-plus-year journey with her pastor husband, Rod Masteller, who was unexpectedly taken away during Covid. With her four daughters, she explains through laughter and tears, the principles of growing a loving family, which Rod taught and lived over his lifetime. They share how these simple truths can be a guide to building a lasting legacy in your family.
Linda lives in Frisco, Texas with her chihuahua, Dinkee, and enjoys raising orchids and plumerias and loving on her eleven grandchildren.
Michelle Gage is the oldest of the four Masteller girls. An author, speaker, podcast host, pastor, and ministry leader living in Orlando, Florida, Michelle has been married to her husband, Rodney, and serving with him in ministry for thirty-five years. She is the cofounder of ReThink Life Church and The Winning Family ministry, as well as the founder of the ReThink Pink Conference for women and girls. She has spoken to thousands through churches, conferences, and leadership events, and her YouVersion Bible App devotionals have reached more than 70,000 completions worldwide. Michelle is the mother of three adult children and “GiGi” to three grandchildren, continuing her family’s legacy of faith, resilience, and encouragement.
Kimberly Welch, the second of four daughters, was raised in a family where faith, resilience, and the steady example of a devoted father shaped the foundation of her life. A wife, mother of three, breast cancer survivor, nurse practitioner, published medical journal author, and international aesthetic medicine trainer, she has spent her life caring for others while continually seeking growth and purpose through every season. Deeply rooted in family and lifelong learning, Kim joins her mother and sisters in sharing the lessons, traditions, and legacy that not only shaped their family story, but continue to guide the women they are today.
Crystal Gornto is an author, storyteller, and women’s community leader, whose work sits at the intersection of faith, family legacy, and purposeful living. The daughter of Dr. Rod Masteller, Crystal brings a deeply personal voice to the themes of legacy, joy, grief, and the daily choices that define a life well lived. Heather Joy Oathout is a devoted wife, mother of three, former teacher, and follower of Jesus, and is passionate about faith, family, and serving others. Alongside her husband, Brian, she is raising two daughters and a son to love Jesus and be His hands and feet in the world. From fostering dogs to raising two children with dyslexia and one with Type 1 Diabetes, Heather embraces life with grace and joy, believing that investing in her family is life’s greatest blessing.
