A dying planet, a desperate mission – and a first contact that may spell the end of human life as we know it. It’s 2099. Dan Dare, a young pilot in Europe’s last public space agency, the British Space Fleet, is ripped from his life as a search and rescue pilot when a comet mysteriously changes direction and instead of passing safely by Earth, is now heading straight for it. After American attempts to nuke the comet fail, it’s up to a handful of people on Mars – Dan, leading scientist Dr Jocelyn Peabody, and young engineer, Al Digby – to land on the surface of the rogue comet and find out what is behind its sudden change of course… before it wreaks planetary devastation. What they find may change the course of Earth’s future… if they survive!
