As a child, Louie turns a basement into a theater, a backyard into an island, and an old bicycle into whatever vehicle his imagination requires. He is a natural entertainer, a storyteller, a rabble-rouser, and a kid who is constantly pushing the limits. His father's favorite command when he has finally had enough is "Daddle-Doo!"-a childhood mystery that Louie eventually discovers means, quite simply, "That will do."
But "that will do" never quite works for Louie.
