Cut and Run
Autor Matt Hiltonen Limba Engleză Paperback – 29 noi 2011
—Contra Costa Times
When speaking about author Matt Hilton’s former Special Forces operative hero Joe Hunter, Booklist says, “Lee Child’s Jack Reacher could have some worthy competition.” And not only Child’s readers, but dedicated fans of Jeffery Deaver, Robert Crais, John Sandford, Andrew Vachss, and Michael Connelly are going to love Hunter and his ways. Cut and Run is the fourth electrifying thriller to feature Hilton’s tough as nails “problem solver,” as an assassin with Hunter’s face launches a terrifying murder spree intended to frame his adversary—forcing Hunter to run from the pursuing law and his vengeful adversary alike, with no one to turn to for help and nowhere to hide. Cut and Run is non-stop excitement and Matt Hilton is well on his way to becoming a major force in thriller fiction.

Textul de pe ultima copertă
Ex-CIA and Special Ops, Joe Hunter made a lot of enemies during his covert career—but none worse than the powerful man he left for dead in South America. Now, seven years later, someone with Hunter’s face has embarked on a horrific killing spree in Florida. Suddenly, people closely connected to the former military operative-turned-problem solver are dying—and when two cops who stop him for questioning are taken out by a sniper’s bullets, Hunter finds himself on the run from the legitimate author-ities . . . and a killer’s vengeance.
With nowhere to hide except in the coldblooded mercenary world of wetwork specialists, Hunter knows he faces a blood storm unlike any he’s encountered before—one that will force him to confront the damning shadows of his past as he fights, tooth and nail, for survival . . . and payback.

Recenzii
Matt Hilton delivers a thrill a minute. Awesome!
From start to finish CUT AND RUN gripped me like a vice on steroids . . . Each set piece scene is carefully crafted and utterly believable due to the precise prose of an author who is growing in stature with every paragraph. CUT AND RUN is Hilton's fourth and best novel to date. While he has only been on bookshelves since May 2009 he is fast becoming a staple of the crime thriller action genre.
If you like the Jack Reacher books, you'll love Hilton's series . . . Action-packed from start to finish
Praise for Dead Men's Dust:
'Hilton is more adept at humour than Lee Child . . . the series should be electrifying'
Hilton writes well . . . a promising start
Hilton hijacks the reader on page one of this white knuckle terror ride - and doesn't let go.
If you're looking out for a new hero with muscle and deadly skills then Joe Hunter is your man . . . breathless, page-ripping stuff
