Crybaby
Autor Caol D Marshen Limba Engleză Paperback – 25 mai 2027
Carol D. Marsh heard it throughout her life. Like many highly sensitive people, she was taught that feeling deeply, being empathetic, and noticing what others missed were weaknesses to overcome rather than strengths to value. In Crybaby, Marsh combines memoir, research, and cultural reflection to examine what it means to be highly sensitive in a society that rewards toughness and dismisses vulnerability. Drawing on current research into highly sensitive people, she traces her journey through childhood shame, family misunderstanding, chronic pain, leadership, advocacy, and personal resilience.
Along the way, she explores the way highly sensitive people think, connect, care, and respond to injustice--and why traits often labeled as weaknesses may be among our greatest human strengths.
Part memoir and part researched essay collection, Crybaby is for highly sensitive people, the people who love them, and the counselors, therapists, and educators who seek to understand them.
