A seemingly quiet corner of rural England hides a web of corruption, fanaticism and buried violence. As power shifts between shadowy criminal networks, a declining convent, and a fractured farming family, loyalties blur and morality erodes. Harrington's polished success masks a criminal enterprise built on exploitation, while a dangerous new drug begins to tear through Winchester, leaving devastation in its wake. At the heart of the story are Clara and her brother Nathan, drawn back to a farmhouse filled with memory, resentment and unspoken intent. Torn between the peace she found in religious isolation and the darkness pulling her home, Clara must confront a past she tried to escape. As law enforcement races against time and secrets crystallise into irreversible choices, the line between justice, faith and vengeance collapses. This is a tense, unsettling exploration of control, belief and the cost of surrendering one's conscience.
