Melissa Leahy gives in to drugs in her early teen years. After having a simultaneous cocaine overdose and miscarriage, she wants to end her life in a car accident. But then she goes to Wings of Love Community Church. Mounted in the Open, a hard rock band, is playing there. Lead singer Jimmy Hensley gives his testimony, saying he, too, was on drugs. Melissa meets him. Jimmy takes her under his wings and mentors her.
