Someone has been stealing kolaches from Russell's Famous Kolaches, and Mrs. Russell needs help fast!

Enter Danny Cruz, private investigator. Danny is confident, determined, and not nearly as good at solving mysteries as he thinks he is.

Luckily, Danny never works alone. Meet Kenzo and Vito, his two Cane Corso partners. Kenzo is serious, super smart, and sarcastic enough to make a cat roll its eyes. Vito is enormous, friendly, and always thinking about snacks. Together, they sniff out clues, question alleyway informants, and keep an eye on Danny while he trips, brags, and takes all the credit.

The clues are strange. The suspects are sneaky. And the kolaches are disappearing fast.
