Introducing management necessarily means thinking about the people who make up the company, just as much as thinking about the impact of new technologies on management, and here again, on people, because the environment demands it. In one way or another, each and every one of us manages and is managed: "you're not born a manager", "you become one". Each of us, in one way or another, at one time or another is responsible for others: the father or mother with his or her children, the product of a parent-teacher association or the co-owner, the coach of a soccer team, the class delegate with the students - all this leads us to say that management is a delicate activity that consists of leading men or women to precise objectives, making the best use of each person's skills. That's why each individual has to make the best decisions for the group in question, in the collective interest. This also leads us to say that the manager is a leader by virtue of his or her natural authority (charisma).
