Notă biografică

Philip P. Mason (1927 - 2021) was Distinguished Professor of History at Wayne State University and he was the founding Director of the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs, Walter P. Reuther Library on the Wayne State Campus. Mason wrote extensively on Michigan history and labor history, including Rum Running and the Roaring Twenties, Tracy W. McGregor, and Labor History Archives in the United States. In 2009, he was awarded the Historical Society of Michigan's Lifetime Achievement Award.
