Nasim Lahbichi's goal is simple: to empower others through the storytelling of food. Born and raised in a Puerto Rican-Moroccan household in Brooklyn, he was exposed to the power of food at an early age. Stories, connections, and memories shared over home cooked meals exposed him to the world while spotlighting what made him feel nourished, inside and out. The recipes he shares online (lahbco) are inviting and imaginative, bringing together diverse voices through mostly plant-based and budget-minded cooking, with a desire to recenter community and activism in every dish. Katy Saintil is a writer, creative strategist, and program developer whose work explores identity, culture, storytelling, human connection, and the ways people make meaning of their experiences. She is particularly drawn to the intersections of culture, community, creativity, and personal transformation.
