Notă biografică

Gurpreet Singh Saini is an Assistant Professor-III in the Department of Automobile and Aeronautical Engineering, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, India in 2017. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience with core areas of research including composite materials, material characterization, process optimization, wear and tribology. He is an active Life Member of the Science and Engineering Institute (SCIEI), and has contributed to more than 25 research papers in various international journals. Dr Singh co-edited Industrial Composites, Optimization Methods, and Tribological Considerations, which published with CRC Press.
Neeraj Sharma is an Associate Professor in the Production Engineering Department of National Institute of Technology Agartala, India. He has published more than 100 research articles in various conferences and journals of repute. His main area of research interests are biomaterials, composites, bio-composites, additive manufacturing and optimizations using statistical/AI techniques.
Yogesh Kumar Singla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Technology Systems at East Carolina University, USA. Before joining ECU, he served as an Adjunct Research Associate at Harvard University and has also held research appointments at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Idaho. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India, he now brings over 11 years of research and teaching experience to his role. His interdisciplinary research focuses on advanced and additive manufacturing, sustainable materials, surface engineering, materials characterization, tribology, corrosion, and data-driven engineering. As an accomplished scholar, he has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed research publications and multiple book chapters, contributing to several edited books with leading international publishers. Throughout his career, he has contributed to externally funded research projects spanning advanced manufacturing, materials engineering, and related interdisciplinary areas. Beyond his research and teaching activities, he serves on editorial boards, reviews for high-impact journals, and is an invited speaker at international forums.
M. Affan Badar is a Professor in Applied Engineering & Technology Management at Indiana State University, USA, and current director of the consortium-based PhD in Technology Management program in Bailey College of Engineering & Technology. During a leave from ISU between September 2016 and August 2018, he served as Professor and Chair of the Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management department at University of Sharjah, UAE. Having earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering from University of Oklahoma, USA, he has published two edited books, seven book chapters, and over 100 articles in journals and proceedings in the areas of lean six sigma, design, reliability, quality, engineering economy, healthcare, and supply chain. Currently serving as an associate editor for the Engineering Management Journal, he also holds editorial positions with several other international journals. His distinguished career has been recognized through numerous honors, including the ISU Faculty Distinguished Service Award in 2025, ISU Theodore Dreiser Distinguished Research/Creativity Award in 2023, IEOM Fellow Award in 2022, and Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
