Comparative theology is a branch of Christian theology which studies the religious diversity and its comparison, as well as theological reflection upon it. Comparative Theology requires the introduction and learning of other religious traditions directly through shared experience. Comparative Theology arose as impact of the tripolar typology in the Theology of Religions discourse, that caught up in arguments about the benefits of the models of theology of religions. Comparative Theology offers to look at other religions from its point of view and tradition.
